What Happens at a Private Eyes Unlimited
Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Event?

Private Eyes Unlimited has delivered dozens of great performances for non-profit groups, restaurants, and corporate events. Our unique blend of music, comedy and interactive “whodunnit” murder mysteries the audience solves, have won rave reviews from audiences and sponsors throughout the
Finger Lakes.

Suspicious characters mingling at your cocktail reception?
… was a curious confession of jealousy overheard?
… did a strange man whisper of revenge?
… and who is that mysterious woman talking to??!!!

Just when you think you’ve found  out who the characters  are and how they relate to each other, someone you’ve just  met…dies!! A detective (sometimes a defective detective)  leads the investigation, but the audience determines who the killer is. During dinner, all the suspicious characters  mingle about, joining you at your table. The action is fast  and furious and the jokes fly non-stop. The suspense is unbearable, and so are some of the jokes.

Finally, you sift through the tangled web of clues and see if you can unmask the killer.

All Private Eyes shows are interactive musical comedies with live music. The audience is invited to join in the fun, and even take the part of a character if they desire. We have performed in unique spaces, like a boat, a train, and a multi-room mansion. And our audience-tested scenarios include a high school or college reunion, a 20’s Speakeasy, a Country Western Honk Tonk, a hilarious Italian Wedding, and even an Irish Wake. We also create custom shows for special events for an additional fee: making us truly “Unlimited”.
